Get a jump start on your healing process.

*Currently Scheduling for July 2025*
Are you deeply struggling and not sure you can make it through the first weeks of couples therapy?
The intensive session structure is a fantastic "jump start" on healing relational issues. This is especially true when you are facing years of neglecting the relationship & built up resentment, scheduling conflicts, or an inability to take time off from work for weekly sessions. Intensives brings the benefit of months of therapeutic work in the span of a day or two. You will have my full time and attention to: get to the root of issues, finally have the space and time to work on what's not been working, be in one another's presence as I work with each of you in a space of relational depth, create understanding and witnessing, gain clarity, and create the potential for lasting changes.
General Intensive Schedule:
- 2.5-3 hours morning session
- 1 hour lunch break
- 2-2.5 hour afternoon session
Coming from out of town and want to make the most of your time? You have the option of booking 1 or 2 day intensive options. Give your relationship the time & attention it deserves while enjoying the Hill-country of Texas.
- Cost of a private 1-day intensive: $1250
- Private 2-day intensive: $2500
You will have follow-up support! In the form of maintenance sessions charged at the hourly rates for couple's therapy. Our first follow-up session will be scheduled 2-3 weeks after your intensive date. Following up on the intensive work done will be crucial for integration and maintenance of growth achieved in session.
When is an intensive not a good fit?
Couple's therapy and a couple's intensive focused on resolving conflicts in the marriage is not a good fit if either one or both partners are not seated in the space of "wanting this to work" If there is not an agreement on partners wanting to stay in the relationship, these "mixed agenda" couples (one wants to stay, the other is ambivalent/one foot out the door) marriage counseling will be ineffective and a specific modality known as "discernment counseling" is recommended. While I do not offer discernment counseling, I have colleagues that do and I will be able to offer referrals if requested.
